Graham Statement on House Passage of Reckless Tax and Spend Bill

WASHINGTON – Senate Budget Committee Ranking Member U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) today issued a statement after the House of Representatives passed the Democrats’ Reckless Tax and Spend bill.

“This House bill, which is a disaster for the American people, is dead on arrival in the U.S. Senate.

“It’s an inflation bomb for hardworking Americans and a windfall for Blue State millionaires. It dramatically expands government entitlements and raises taxes across the economy.

“I really appreciate all the House Republicans standing together in opposition and the spirited attacks on this bill by Leader McCarthy.

“I will do everything in my power to end this madness in the Senate.”
