Sanders Statement on the Retirement of Senator Mike Enzi

WASHINGTON, May 6 – U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders issued the following statement regarding the retirement of Senator Mike Enzi (R-WY):

Although we have had serious differences on policy issues, I consider Sen. Enzi a friend whom I’ve enjoyed working with in our time leading the Budget Committee and the Subcommittee on Primary Health and Retirement Security. I wish him and his family all the best in his retirement.
